Bespoke Human Factors Training Delivered To Manchester Children's Hospital.
Trainetics were delighted to recently work alongside Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust to design and deliver bespoke Human Factors training for the Children's Hospital.
The training took place at the Nowgen Centre, delivered to 50 staff and encompassed a series of highly tailored workshops aimed at both imparting a sound understanding of Human Factors together with how these principles can be applied to the particular challenges and professional practices of the department. The sessions covered such topics as Situational Awareness, Decision Making, Workload Management, Intervention, Communication, Time Critical Events and Just Culture.
It was great to see the team acquire a firm foundation in HF principles alongside developing their own suite of personalised skills for immediate deployment within their complex, dynamic system.
