Bespoke Human Factors Training Delivered To Guys and St Thomas' Trust.
Trainetics faculty members Dr Helen Vosper, Mark Parbhoo, Matthew West and Pete Nataraj were delighted to recently work alongside Guys and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust to design and deliver bespoke Human Factors training for the GSTT Trust.
The training took place over two days, delivered to 140 staff and encompassed a series of highly tailored workshops aimed at both imparting a sound understanding of Human Factors together with how these principles can be applied to the particular challenges and professional practices of the department. The sessions covered such topics as Situational Awareness, Decision Making, Workload Management, Socio-technical System Interaction, Sustainable & Effective Wellbeing Interventions and Just Culture.
It was great to see the team acquire a firm foundation in HF principles alongside developing their own suite of personalised skills for immediate deployment within their complex, dynamic system.
