Trainetics talks Human Factors with Barking, Havering & Redbridge Trust Maternity Team.
The BHRUT Maternity team invited Trainetics to talk to their unit about Human Factors at their monthly education afternoon.
The bespoke afternoon covered the fundamentals of Human Factors such as situational awareness and decision making as applied to Obstetrics & Gynaecology. A facilitated discussion session followed, looking at areas identified by the unit as being of specific interest such as bias, incivility, fatigue and authority gradients.
Using these headline topics, the delegates were guided through interactive discussions developing ideas on how to optimise their system performance and wellbeing.
