Emma is currently working as a Student Anaesthesia Associate at University College London Hospital with her background as a Registered Nurse working primarily in Anaesthetics and Resuscitation.
Having worked in Healthcare for over 12 years, Emma has developed a keen interest in patient safety and the role human factors can play in delivering safe and effective patient care. As an Advanced Life Support provider and instructor, Emma is an advocate for simulation based learning.
Alongside other hospitals in the South East region, Emma has developed new and innovative ways of delivering the WHO Safe Surgery Checklist and is passionate about ensuring practical processes exist within our healthcare systems.
