Dave has been an airline pilot for 20 years having previously worked in the automotive industry as a crash test simulation engineer, following a BEng Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Having completed an RAF flying scholarship in 1996 Dave joined DHL Air Ltd flying the Boeing 757. He joined BA in 2005 on the Airbus A320 fleet before spending 5 years flying the Airbus A380.
He is currently a Captain on the Airbus A320 and is both a technical trainer (TRI/TRE) and a Human Factors Trainer. With a particular interest in how human factors influence performance within the aviation arena, Dave is passionate about sharing knowledge and helping other industries to achieve enhanced performance through the application of human factors training and personal development.
